Nala Rox 9/24/02 Friesian/Thoroughbred Mare sired by Nero. Solid Black - no white. Out of 16 hand, Jockey Club registered, very sane and quiet, Thoroughbred mare, Maiden Rock (Captain Seaweed x Balencia by Believe a Little). Nala has a big, double dose, of "good temperament genes" from both parents. Nala is a very personable and athletic mare who looks quite "warmblood" and moves very nicely. She was recently lightly started in driving and under saddle. She is very green, but is showing a good mind and is ready to take on more training in a new home. She has moments when new things make her a little nervous, but she stays steady and paying attention and does not do anything silly. Nala should finish out right around or a bit over 16 hands. When measured at 4 years, 4 months, she was 15.3 hands.

Nala is double registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International (HH) and the Friesian Sport Horse Registry (FSHR) and is eligible for the Friesian Blood Horse Registry (FBHR), among others.
