Nero's Nemadji (pronounced Na-maud-gee): 4/29/99 Friesian/Appaloosa Mare. Solid Black - no white. Registered with the Friesian Sport Horse Registry. Out of 15.2 hand, registered, black, no-spot Appaloosa mare and sired by Nero. Lots of mane & tail -- very Friesian looking! VERY quiet and sweet. This is not the largest mare around, (about 15.2) but she is a mover! Fancy! "Madji" received some driving training in 2001, was lightly started with saddle work in 2006, and in May of 2007, she went for 8 weeks of riding and driving training and was worked lightly the rest of the summer (including being ridden in a parade & trail rides). Prior to 2007, she has mainly been used as a broodmare and has had 3, very nice, three-quarter Friesian foals, Vanique and Van Diesel and Nemadji had a beautiful new, black, 3/4 Friesian filly on 9/7/06. Nemadji is double registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International (HH) and the Friesian Sport Horse Registry (FSHR) and is eligible for the Friesian Blood Horse Registry (FBHR), among others.
